Currently, completion of the online test security training modules is not a state requirement. It is, however, strongly recommended that districts and charter schools use these modules to help supplement the mandatory training required of all personnel involved in testing.
Either a personal or a work e-mail account can be used to register for the training; however, users should consider entering the e-mail address that is least likely to change. Educators who are planning to move from one district to another, for example, might want to use their personal e-mail address if they anticipate that they will no longer have access to their work account after they leave.
A certificate can be sent only to the e-mail address that was entered by the user when he or she registered for the training. If the e-mail address that was initially used is no longer available, please contact the Support Center at (800) 627-0225 and request to have the certificate(s) e-mailed to your new e-mail address.
Users may complete the modules as many times as they like, such as prior to each test administration.
TEA does not require individuals to submit their training certificate(s) to anyone; however, it is strongly recommended that you save copies of the certificates on your computer or print them for your records. Be aware that some districts may institute their own local policies that require staff to show proof of completion.
The certificate of completion for each module is provided as an e-mail Adobe PDF attachment.

used to view PDF documents. The free Adobe Acrobat Reader software can be downloaded
